On March 5, 2024 at 6:00 PM, the annual, eagerly-awaited student vs. faculty basketball game was held. In the beginning, students and faculty were tied 14-14, but eventually as tension increased, the game concluded with students winning. The game was highly entertaining, and attendees filled up most of the bleachers.
Rather than the typical 4 quarters of a basketball game, there were 3 periods. Adding to the excitement, after each period was a contest, such as a donut-eating contest and hula-hooping contest. It is undeniable that the game generated a great sense of community, Red Hawk spirit, and exhilaration! Moreover, the proceeds from admission fees benefitted the class of 2024.
